Dance

The owner of the dance studio where the girls take dance asked me if I could teach her classes for her tonight.  I agreed to it, and then I got nervous about what I had gotten myself into.  I started at 4:15 teaching 3 year olds tap/ballet/tumble.  This was really really challenging.  You wouldn't think so, but they were crazy!!!  One girl got kicked in the head, another girl felt the need to choke all the other girls, it was very interesting.  After that I taught 4 year old tap/ballet/tumble.  These girls were so sweet, I really really enjoyed teaching them.  Then I taught the teenage competition tap team, needless to say I didn't teach them anything, I just watched their routine and critiqued them a bit.  When that class was over I taught a hip hop class.  This is kind of hilarious to me because I do not hip hop, I am in no way gangsta!!!  Instead I had them do a bunch of stretching/conditioning and across the floor stuff.  I am sure they were super annoyed but it would have been ridiculous for me to try to do hip hop.  After that I taught one girl tap.  She was so shy I couldn't even get her to talk to me but eventually we at least did some tap dancing.

So I spent 5 hours at the studio dancing and it was totally fun!  I am sure I enjoyed myself more than the kids did, but I hope it wasn't too bad for them :)
