Sugarland Tree Farm

We wanted to get a real tree this year so we went to Sugarland Tree Farm in Stockbridge and cut our own tree down.  This was the first time we have ever cut down our own tree and it was a lot of fun.  Amelia decided she didn't want to participate in our family fun so she stayed home with Margaret and Sophie.  Shelby and Audry thought it was awesome that we got to have candy canes and hot chocolate and see Santa!  So here are some pics of our fun adventure.

Here are some recent pics I have taken.  Mostly of my back yard, but a couple are from other places too.  So I have never seen anything like the one of the fallen branch.  I found it in my back yard and thought it looked really neat.  I have never seen fungus that looks like Craisins before!

Audry got a cupcake maker for her birthday from Grandma and Grandpa Knighton.  All of the girls love it!!

Family Picture

I have been wanting a family picture for our Christmas cards and just to hang on the wall.  I hate that the biggest size you can get from most photo studios is 11X16 so I decided to take the picture myself using a tripod and timer.  My family did not want to participate.  I had the coolest location picked out.  The fall leaves looked beautiful, but no one wanted to go there to take the picture.  Matt said he would do it in the yard but he wasn't going anywhere.  So instead we took our pic in the backyard.  Then I went and printed it out at wolf camera and also got 30 photo cards from CVS for $3.80.  Yeah for bargains!  Not the best picture in the world, but at least we got one!

Ear infection

Sophia was up all night long last night acting crazy. So that usually means Ear infection. I took her to the dr. today, she threw up in the car on the way there so luckily I had a change of clothes. We got to the dr and yep she had an ear infection. It was pretty bad so he gave her some drops and an antibiotic. Since I am in there at least once a month with her for an ear infection the dr. asked me what antibiotic I wanted for her. Pretty funny to me that he has the medical degree and is asking me which antibiotic to giver her but oh well. We left the office and headed to the pharmacy. On the way she threw up again, all over the back of the passenger seat, all over her, all over her car seat. YUCK!!! This time I don't have another change of clothes so I cleaned her off and took her into the pharmacy in just her diaper...I know, mother of the year! She is sleeping now, I hope she feels better soon!

Tick or Treat

We invited some friends over for halloween. We took all the kids trick or treating, a little girl we didn't know joined our group too. At one point it looked like I had about 8 kids all 8 and under. My new next door neighbor was amazed, they had heard I had a lot of kids, but I think 8 was more than they were imagining :D

We weren't too adventurous, we just did our street, but the kids seemed to get a lot of candy.
