Kernal Kob Corn Maze

I love Fall.  It is my favorite time of year, and living in the South I miss Fall.  It just isn't the same down here.  The leaves don't turn all the vibrant colors, and the weather doesn't cool off quite as much.  On Saturday I decided that no matter how far North I had to drive, I was going to see some Fall leaves, and have some Fall fun.  We loaded up into the car and we drove to North GA.  We went to Jasper and went to Kernal Kobs Corn maze.  There were two mazes, a hay ride, pony rides, a petting zoo, and other fun fall activities too.  It was in the cutest spot.  A valley in the mountains with a tiny stream and a pretty water fall.  We had so much fun and bought some pumpkins and some fresh apples.  I had so much fun and it was totally worth the drive.

Dora

We traded in the mini van and the BMW.  It was time for a new car!  We ended up getting a Bronze 2011 Ford Explorer.  The kids call it Dora.  It is really nice, it has a ton of high tech features that will take me forever to figure out how to work.  We love the keyless entry and keyless ignition.  Also loving the blue tooth.  I never have to take my keys or phone out of my purse while I am driving.  I feel completely spoiled!

San Diego

 A while back I went to San Diego with Matt.  He was there for a conference, and my mom came out to watch the girls so I could spend a few days there with him.  It was a much needed break, and a lot of fun. 

The weather was pretty cool, so I didn't do any swimming, I did hang out by the pool in my sweats though :)  We also got to eat at the restaraunt where the bar scene from Top Gun was filmed.  It wasn't the best food ever, but it was a fun place.

One night we got to party with Elvira, and the next night we got to have dinner on an aircraft carrier. There were several jets on the deck, and we got to take a tour and Matt braved one of the flight simulators.
