Shelby Student of the Month

Shelby was the student of the month for September at school. Matt, Audry, Sophie, and I went and saw her get her certificate today. She is such a smart, sweet girl, we love her and are proud of her!

I love to shop and I love great deals even more. I was at Babies R Us the other day and found a cute outfit on the clearance rack. It was only $12, for a hat, shoes, shirt, jacket, and skirt. I think it is adorable so here are some pics so you can all check out my frugal finds.

Book Report

Shelby had her first book report. She did it on the book Ramona the Brave. She did a very good job so I thought I would share her project with y'all. She also typed a two page report. This was her first time ever typing a paper and it took a really really long time :)

We found this website that will put your face into a yearbook picture from different years. We are huge dorks, but none the less, it was quite a fun way to spend the evening while Matt was working. Here are the best ones! Matt was 1976, I was 1984, Shelby 1994, Amelia 1964, Audry 1996, and Sophia 1960.

Future Programmer?

Matt comes from a family of techy geeks.....no offense to any of you family members who may be reading this :D Anyway, I think it is great because I am clueless when it comes to anything technical, when I get a laptop, phone, ipod, or whatever I just hand it over to Matt to get all set up for me. Anyway, I guess the tradition continues, all of our kids love the computer and seem to have a really easy time figuring it out. Audry asked me the other day how to spell "Google" so that she could look something up...remember she is 3 and can't even read yet, what a silly girl. Even Sophia is in on the action. She loves electronics of any kind. If you have a cell phone, laptop, ipod, video game or anything she will hunt you down and try to take it from you. She loves to bang on the keyboards of computers. I am sure she will be surfing the web before long!

Audry's first day of preschool!!!

Audry started preschool today, she is going to the same one that Shelby and Amelia went to. Her teacher is Miss Vicki. She was a very big girl and didn't get sad when it was time for me to leave. She had a great fist day singing songs, playing with new friends, and she got to make an apple out of red construction paper.
