The Lost Art of the Shoe Horn

We got on the ship in the after  noon, so we decided it would be good to explore our new home. Our cabin # was 6450, we were on the 6th floor of the ship.  It was awesome location because we were just one floor up from all the fun restaraunts and clubs.

 

 We decided we would go hang out in the pub where there was some live music playing.  We met the singer, Timmy, from South Carolina.  We felt like we had met a kindred spirit from the South.  We also met some great friends Jane and Trent from Australia and . Jesse and Kim from Chicago  They, like everyone our age on the ship, were on their honeymoon.  We ended up spending a lot of time hanging out with them the whole trip.

The reason for the title of this post, is that everywhere we went on our trip we were given complimentary shoe horns along with other toiletries.  We each got one on the plane, in the hotel, and in our cabin on the cruise ship.  They are actually crazy helpful in getting your shoes on.  Not sure why they aren't more common here in the states, or am I wrong, do all of you use them and I am the only one that wasn't let in the loop?
