Bye Bye Glasses!!  Shelby has had to wear glasses since she was 4 years old.  Her vision has been getting steadily worse ever since.  She now has worse vision than either Matt or I and it continues to deteriorate.  The eye doctor said that if we left it alone it would get to a point where it couldn't be corrected to 20/20.  This kind of freaked me out so we looked into "Wave Accerlerated Orthokeratology"  They are hard contact lenses that she will wear at night while she is sleeping.  They reshape her eye during the night and when she wakes up in the morning she will not have to wear her glasses or contacts.  She will be able to see perfectly all day, and the best part is, her vision will stop getting worse.  We spent an hour and a half at the eye dr today for her to learn how to put them in, take them out, and care for the lenses.  Each replacement lense is $400.  so she better not lose or break them. 

Shelby is so excited to not have to wear glasses anymore, especially for dance class and competitions.
