100th day of school

In Kindergarten numbers are a huge deal, anything they can do to integrate learning how to count into their day they do. So on the 100th day of school the kids all had to count to 100. They had to bring a bag with 100 things for them to count, they had to wear 100 things on their clothes, like stickers, or buttons or something. Amelia decided to have 100 ponytails in her hair. I thought this was a good idea untill we started doing it. Oh my goodness, it took forever and ever and ever, then when it was all done I realized that it might be taken as offensive. Where we live there are a lot of African American people and I totally didn't want them to think we were trying to make fun of their "interesting" hair dos. Well I sent her to school anyway. Here are some pics!
